With a test wire between A and P on the flasher unit, the TRF bulb comes on.
With the green wire off the flasher unit and the test wire to A, nothing happens.
Assuming the flasher is bad?
Yes, the flasher is dead.
They are fairly common still in auto parts stores, but may have spade terminals now. If there are little holes in the spades you can run screws into them.
Ok, I’ll go see who might have one, this is the one I have…The one with the white wires is the original I hooked up just to test. Hopefully someone will have it and I’ll let you know. I sure appreciate your help. I don’t know how guys who buy these great cars could do anything without this forum!
No one has one so I had to order from the usual. That’s where I got the “new” one.
