After a lot of help from a variety of forum members for which i am very grateful, I have now got most of the bumper stuff fitted and looking snazzy.However, I cannot see how to fit the curved chrome pieces to the sides of the rear light assemblies. I can see why there are in general lots of comments about the set up on the rear of the XKE S2 as being somewhat a mess…I shall be glad when I have it DONE.
On mine I used a long bolt and a tube spacer and some fender washers on either side of the tail light bracket. There is also supposed to be a sheet metal screw in the bottom corner going into the bottom of the tail light shell. There isn’t much wrench room…
