I watched your video, and with all due respect, how does 0.006" end float equate to Pre-load? My definition of Pre-load to the lay person is less that no end float.

The Salisbury output shafts tapered bearings require Pre-load.
Setting them with End-float is not correct, Mark’s video is erroneous…
