Mark, when you have removed the pump you can use it as a template for the blanking plate. That is what I did.
Thanks Otto , i tend to be a OC when it comes to this sort of thing , i like to have everything ready to go straight away . But will just do as you suggest . Mark
Mark, you just need 3-5 mm thick aluminium for the plate. It is easy to fabricate. Once I had shaped mine and drilled the three necessary holes I painted the plate in black.
