Good point. I will tell my wife I need a 100 miles drive to cure the problems of my series one as well.
After a recent oil & filter change at the workshop, I noticed that the new oil level in my 4.2 S1 was almost 1cm above the hi level on dipstick. I experienced quite abit of oil leaks at the dipstick tube in the following weeks. Everyday I checked the garage floor, there was a little puddle of engine oil. Until the oil level dropped to slightly under the middle of the knurled patch, now there are only a few drops after every drive.
