I think white is a common color. In the states, the glacier white color was one of the popular to be ordered. I prefer the more rare colors like Moorland Green or Silver Birch myself.
I think your fuel pump failure at 35K miles is quite rare. Mine was working fine at 70K miles except for the hot weather condition. These Bosch pumps are used on many injected cars and if there was an issue of common failure at early mileages I think we would have heard about it by now. There have been many allegations of fuel system issues with the commonly available 10% ethanol fuel but I have not experienced any issues with my 6 British cars some of which are well over 50 years old. Just one motoristās experience.
