I finally got the dash off Now I want to remove pass airbag I don’t want it to blow in my face so I need instructions on how to disarm first Regards Mark
From memory and it’s been a LONG time but I did this when I worked at the dealer.
Loosen or remove some bolts so it can be TILTED to disarm the mechanical firing mechanism.
thanks I looked at some levers on the sides of the mech.that seem to play a part in the arm diarm

Quick Note when installing driver’s airbag on Facelift car, One must not install lower column cover, first install lower bolt through trap door where arm disarm screw is then arm airbag replace cover flat turn wheel either direction to access the two upper nuts holding airbag on wheel. then replace the lower cover. Found out the hard way
