1999 X308 coolant leak.
I have a bad coolant leak that appears to originate from behind the accessory drive-belt crankshaft pulley. I am unable to identify the exact source. Any ideas?

Could be the water pump as hard to see under that. You may be able to with a mirror or feel it wet under the pulley.
Otherwise sources might be:
drip from split cross pipe which has the temp sensor in. These crack and could drip down onto the belt
Loose or corroded hose clip on the short rubber hose to the thermostat tower
Leak from thermostat tower base
Leak from thermostat cover gasket
Try looking for dried out coolant tracks with a bright light and a mirror
I’d lay my last penny that the culprit is the dreaded “valley” hose.
