Hi i took the screws out of the seat back bottom. what holds the top of it on. thanks bill
The seat back on the short wheel base car simply hooks over the seat belt retractor devices. So after the bottom screws are removed, undo the bottom shoulder harness bolts. Then lift the seat back upward until it clears the retractors. Feed the shoulder belts through the slots in the seat backs, and then muscle the seat back forward/over the retractors. Easier if there are two people as it’s really squeezed in there. Below is a photo I took when removing the fuel pumps from the top via an access trap door that I cut in the shelf. Not very good for illustrating the basic seat removal, but it does show one of the shoulder harness retractors.
