2008 XK Keyless Entry

Both my keys operate correctly on all buttons but the keyless entry doesn’t work. The keys both have brand new Panasonic batteries. The car will start with the key anywhere in the car.

I have the electrical guide and from that, I’m guessing the keyless entry is a separately programmable feature of the key. Can anyone confirm that this is the case? It may be that the PO got this disabled by the dealer but I like it and want to enable it. I have successfully programmed my XK8 keys with WDS version 118.5 but I’m not sure if this version works with X150. Does anyone know for sure?

Having looked at the wiring diagram, there are 2 fuses that should be checked. Fuse F3 20A which supplies the Keyless Vehicle Module and fuse F19 5A which supplies the RF receiver. Both fuses are located in the central junction box in the front passenger footwell.
That said it may also be the BCM needs reprogramming which I think requires SDD.
