My car came sans parking assist of any kind so I’ve been tinkering with installing a backup camera in the F-type.
Kits are available for about $600, but a friend of mine installed a $15 camera in his 2005 Volvo S60 just like that. Works including the colored help lines and distance markets.
I bought a camera and adapter cable to fit the infotainment head unit without the expensive “black” box and wiring, hoping I could repeat the Volvo success. No such luck.
Now to my question about SW update.
The head unit states that SW updates can be obtained from jaguar.com but I have not been able go find anything.
Can anyone on this forum shed some light ?
