any supplier recommendations for the moulded armrests for 3.8 ots? do they need to be assembled or do they come ready to install?

I believe SNG carries them. I restored my originals.
New S1 armrests are about $150/pair and getting them to match the rest of your interior kit upholstery can be difficult. They’re a bugger to recover, but it can be done. The padding is almost always crumbling. I found a “yoga block” of dense rubber/foam worked fairly well as a substitute for the originals ($7 at Walmart). Cuts very well on a band saw. You can buy them new either with or without covers from XKs or SNGB. Also check OSJI and BAS interior suppliers, they will sometimes list them as an option in their kits.https://tinyurl.com/y222pgag
