Hmm, OK I was following the advice posted by Ray Livingstone some time ago, but if that was given assuming an internally regulated Alternator, then I have what you describe. The Lucas alternator is connected to the regulator control box. I don’t like the idea of leaving the light disconnected completely. I was hoping to have the Ign warning lamp function as it does in the series 1 cars prior to the 3AW addition.
