I replaced the tensioner the other day but the rattling noise hasn’t gone away. Was there anything from the original assembly that had to be reused?

Its been a long time since I did mine but the tensioner has to be released from memory? I’m not sure if that is automatic once the engine starts and oil pressure builds up?
