I just tried to reply to a private message and got a screen saying “429 error” I tried to send it again and it went through. What’s a 429 error?
A 429 error means that the server decided you were making too many requests in a too short period. (Propellorhead “explanation” here). Don’t take it personally, just grumble a bit then try again.
Since the last round of updates yesterday I’ve seen a few “try again” errors, but I haven’t seen a 429 error yet.
The loading of recently created posts, or editing/flagging of a post which you’ve only just created are a few of the things that the patches were supposed to address.
