I am in the process of rebuilding a 1999 XJ8 transmission.
(5HP24 Serial #0168984 Model #1058 000026)
The functional check (ZF manual page 3.7/2) of all six clutch/brakes by applying compressed air to an adapter plate is very disappointing.
Clutches A, B & C. are not functioning.
Brake D has a faint clunk with a faint hiss of air escaping air.
Brakes E & F appear to be functioning correctly.
Any assistance with resolving these issues would be appreciated.
