I need two dowels which got between the engine block and the John’s Cars Conversion Plate. I will buy then from you. Or can someone tell me the diameter?

The dowels of which you speak are just the standard dowel pins on all Jaguar xk engines of the period that go between engine and belhousing, nothing special. Part # is C13478. C13478 Dowel, Locating Bell Housing | Moss Motors
I can measure one for you, but if you have the block, you have the hole to measure. Should be standard (non-metric size), generally available. Or maybe I’m missing something in your question.
The dowel pins between the John’s car plate and the 700r4 transmission are standard GM, available online - I just bought some of extended length on Amazon.
