Once lived in that general vicinity…

No heater or AC knocks the value hard…

Why are all the lumps we see are carb cars, not the far better EFI???

Carbs are easier and cheaper to do.
Some may still be frightened of this new fangled EFI and computer wizardry.
Swapping in series3 tanks for the efi return adds to cost as well

My lumper has the problematic and archaic Holley and I wish I had exercised patience and waited for either the LS1 series 2 or the beautifully done LS3 XJS both of which came up for sale shortly after I bought mine.

When I was looking I can’t remember seeing a single conversion that had working HVAC. It was as if they spent so much time and money on the engine conversion the a/c was a bothersome afterthought to do right. Mine works perfectly =)

This puzzles me: the Holley most surely is kind of archaic, but properly set-up, they work just fine.

Maybe I need someone who understands Holleys better but from my experience they work fine as a blunt instrument pouring fuel in to go fast but that’s it. As soon as my Q-jet is ready the Holley gets booted.
