I have an 85 xjs with the Dana 3rd member, does anyone have info of stronger after market clutch clips. I could also use some info on the spline count so I can try to get parts before tearing it down.
Most people with a malfunctioning Dana opt to replace it with a Salisbury primarily because it’s easier to get rebuild parts.
I am aware of Jaguars S.O.P. but since I can’t find a differential out of an xjs at a reasonable price I thought I would try a less expensive fix. Do you know of a source for the clips and possibly a part #, I know it’s a lot to ask but I want to drive this
yard ornament.
Is there another Jag differential that will work?

I can’t answer the clips question but pretty sure the spline count on the dana stub axles is 19
