'87 S3 front passenger and driver courtesy lights

Has anyone installed lites for the front passenger and driver foot wells? If so, where did you mount them and what type of fixture did you use?

Just thinking out loud. :wink:

Many to be found on the XJS. Some have done it on the XJ; either low on the A pillar panel or inwards of the blower motors. Maybe get a lamp on a long wire and try a few locations that have space?

Thanks for the suggestions. A pillar seems more promising as that may be where I can tap off the door switch.

Indeed, all the cables are right there.
For the back though it’s slightly more complicated…
