94 xj12 6.0 v12 removing air injection, and maybe ac

Hello all Jag lovers I am installing the AJ 6 intake manifolds on my 6.0 V12 and while doing that I am also going to change spark plugs wires and all coolant hoses I am also going to remove the air injection pump and lines I would also like to remove the AC pump which is on the same belt as the air injection pump I would wondering if there is anyone out there with some information on doing this I had a 5.3 with no air injection pump and it was beautiful and easy to work on

You’re lucky to have the AJ6 Engineering intakes. Roger Bywater recently discontinued them because his welder retired. You might have one of the very last sets.

If you just want to remove the smog pump, you need a UK or Canada idler pulley assembly. I cost checked this out of the UK and the specialists wanted too much money so I just left the pump in place, connected to nothing. Theoretically you could remove the vanes inside but I didn’t bother.

If you are going to remove the AC too, then you’re good to go without the pulley. There’s nothing else on the belt, so just omit the belt.

Is there any advice out there on removing ac pump too? I would like both gone. I live in seattle, no need for ac. And yes roger said he is no longer making the intakes. He is finishing mine now and sending it soon. I. Also getting the tt exhaust pieces too.
