A little work on the doors today

well ! that was synchronous, phoned and the man hisself answered 1st ring! still happening but not into supplying cat parts.

Tom, great info! Could be the right long term solution for my off-side door. And the price for a pair seems hard to believe. Are these the one from Europe?

Here a little done on the doors today , tomorrow try to build side panels.

Are you securing all the panels with rivets? I know that is original, but It doesn’t seem particularly robust. All the original rivets are loose my car. It seems like the original design could use some upgrading in this area.

You should hear my Cobra over a rough road - given that the entire body is held on by rivets, there’s a full percussion section going on there…

That is a great point, rivets were not the best solution , We made the doors out of 16 ga aluminum. some of the rivets will come out when we mount the doors to the car, and will be tig welded as well as the skin lip and other key points. if anyone is interested i will upload more photos when we set the doors to the shell .
