I’m curious about the Forums Summary Page.
I see two sections in the Forum Summary; New Topics and Topic Updates. And below that large group of post titles is the full text of the original posts and responses, in the same order as the titles above.
So my question is, when does a topic move from “New Topics” to “Topic Updates”? Why does it not happen when the first response is entered?

as I understand it the “New topics” include all threads initiated since the last daily summary, which may mean there are three entries, if there have been two replies to the original posting during one day.
The “topic updates” add on older threads. Unfortunately, you have to switch from the e-mail client to the website to see the full thread, as citing has become unpopular as it is unnecessary on the website display.
I’m still under the impression that the daily summaries that I have limited to “XJ” and “XK engine” miss a couple of threads though.
