AC evaporator in the 420G

Yhe compressor is new, since about 3 yrs, but I don´t get cold air anymore…
A leak in an O-ring can be fixed but if the evaporator, under the radiator, is bad, what is the solution?
Argon gas weld repair the aluminium unit, or buy a new one? Where?

If you have the Factory A/C, the unit under the radiator is in fact one of 2 condensors

(The evaporator is in the boot)

If the under radiator condensor has failed, it is my understanding any Universal unit that fits can be used

The problem with replacing the under radiator condenser (belly condenser) is finding a modern equivalent of similar dimensions (7"x26"x2"). Also, if this is a Delinair unit, the condensers are connected in series and the belly unit uses #8 connectors on both ends. I find that the modern units use a #8 in and #6 out. I don’t know how easy or hard it is to change the connectors.

Thanks as usual. Much appreciated.

So must best bet is that the o-rings leak. Easily changed?, and then refill with R134, and the cold air is back😊
