Adding a ground Strap

What would be the best way to add another ground for the engine?
Should the ground strap go from the firewall (body) to the engine, or from the firewall to the chassis and then to the engine?

You can never have too many ground paths!

Just pick a good, solid connection on the engine, and connect to a bolt or nut on the chassis. Use star washers on the chassis leg, to get a good “bite” in the metal, then coat with a heavy grease.

Thank you. The ground to the engine must be corroded and makes cranking intermittent. I can’t access the ground strap to clean it, so I figure that adding another ground strap would be the fix.
