Advice on changing Automatic Car to Manual and are the manual gearboxes different between engine sizes?

Hello Dirk, yes I have had a few similar opinions now that a gearbox from a 2.4 probably wont be suitable so the fact that someone else is saying that just reiterates that the 2.4 box is not suitable for my car, thanks for your help/advice, regards Paul.

Hello Peter, sorry for the delay in getting back in touch, I have finally got some prices and advice regarding shipping, unfortunately it’s not worth it for me to get it shipped over cost wise it will cost more than I could purchase a gearbox for in the UK, thanks again for your offer of help and advice, kind regards Paul.

I bought the box from a crashed car. it was marked 1972. Resides now in the USA
