Air circulation system filter

This may seem like a stupid question, but I do assume there is some type of an outside air filter somewhere on the car for the air circulation system? Could someone please confirm there is one; where it is located; and how do I get at it to clean or replace it. The modern S-Type that I have is a 2001.

As normal with anything Jaguar … not a fast and simple job.

Actually, it’s very straightforward and takes about 10 or 15 minutes unless the wiper arms are stuck on their spindles. BTW the pollen filter is on the left side of a RHD car i.e. a mirror image of the video.
