Are All Series One Seats Interchangeable

I may need to replace the seats in my 73 XJ6. Will all series one seats interchange easily? How about series two?

I don’t know the answer to your questions but I am certain that the Parts Catalogues for the Series One and Series Two XJ6 would have that information. Do you have copies of these Parts Catalogues? If not, they are very helpful for answering these questions and thousands more like them. I see them for sale on eBay regularly for about $50 each, sometimes for less. There is a Series One XJ6 Parts Catalogue for sale on eBay now for about $33 US and a Series Two one for $57 US.

I will get the serial number from the car and research it.
