The Back-up senor warning comes on with a single tone, 3 seconds, What is required to fix the get it to work correctly, (ie) the progressive tone as you get close to an object, Thanks…
It’s an indication that the reverse parking aid system has failed in some way. The most common cause is that one of the four sensors has failed. If you scan the car it will tell you which one. If you haven’t got a scanner, without the engine running, select reverse and listen to each one. They make a very high frequency clicking noise or if you can’t hear the high frequencies, sometimes you can feel them working with a light finger touch.
