Basic radiator fin question

Hi all. I have a working and non leaking radiator that is missing lots of fins. Clearly, i am losing heat transfer potential. Can this radiator last a bit longer? Wonder if tubes need the support of the fins, etc. Thanks all.

If it is keeping the engine at the proper temperatures, why bother replacing ? You don’t indicate what engine you have and that may not matter. If its’ a V12 and you are using the temperature gauge as your guide, I would suggest buy a laser thermometer and take multiple readings on the engine. Pretty sure buried in the archives you will find info on where to take the temperatures on the V12.

If it’s a V12, congrats on keeping a radiator working long enough for the fins to deteriorate! Most V12 rads are plugged up long before that.
