Beadings and clips

Hi,
Can anyone give me advice how to fit the side beadings and clips on a 1968 Jaguar mark 2?

the clips are pop rivets so you need a pop rivet gun, the strips are best knocked on with the palm of your hand, hook the strip on top of the clips, punch downwards with your palm, the pattern rear wing strips are too wide, they just fall off again! may have to use some tigerseal!
