I’m usually a devoted SNG Barratt customer, but sometimes SC Parts Group in UK is cheaper even with shipping. A new stainless exhaust for the ‘87 XJ12 …. 697 GBP plus 145 shipping is $1047 USD. SNG about about $200 more. But they have cheaper downpipes. You can’t win. Bought an MGB door from SC for same reason several years ago.
All this because it needs a transmission rebuild and the exhaust won’t survive another R&R! With the down pipes, new tips, a fitting kit… this really adds up.
