This is one bracket that attaches the headlight diaphragm to an air duct. What are the three brad like things in the three corners for?

Mine had a felt like material with the split pins holding them on . Dust or water seal I guess
Are used self adhesive foam tape on mine available at any hardware store. It’s one of the parts that many body shops can’t figure out where it fits when they put the bonnet back together.
About how thick was your felt? I will cut a piece and fit it in.

1/8" don’t think it does much but keeps the paint from getting scratched
Once your done with the bonnet you will never see it again

The felt seals the opening between the front of the wheel well and the area behind the headlights to keep road dirt from collecting in the lower valance that area dosen’t need any help in the rust department.
