1984 XJ6 Ser 3, US spec
I haven’t been under the car to check, yet. How many brake hoses are there? If any in the rear, where are they located?
My usual, local parts source said there were eight hoses. Didn’t sound right to me.
Check the usuals sources SNG MOSS or Jaguar Heritage spares, they will have exploded views of the braking systems.
2 at the front, one at the rear, from body to IRS. A short one that can’t be missed.
Fronts should be metric for 1984.
Yep. There’s only three. Available in stainless braid as well now. Years ago I had mine made up by my friendly neighbourhood brake shop.
