Dear Jag-lovers, I have a problem with the front-right brake of my MKVII: when I brake strongly this brake, after releasing the pedal, stays on, not completely on but half on.
The shoe return springs are new.
One of the thackray washers (that you can see on the image) of the stabilizer bolts is not working properly (it is very loose) and I suspect that this could be the problem but I’m not quite sure of it.

Have you checked / replaced the flexible hose for that wheel? Typically an old hose can start to work as a valve if it collapses inside or if it can bulge a bit, as then it accumulates some of the pressure and does not fully release when the other slave cylinders do.
