Buy that part when you first see it

About 12 years ago, I ran across a NOS printed circuit board for the gauges in my 71 on EBay. Only wanted $10 for it. Didn’t need it but what if I ever did.

Kept it wrapped in bubble wrap in a dresser drawer all these years. This week, my voltmeter and oil pressure gauge quit working, and sure enough, the printed circuit had failed on mine.

Grabbed the new one and half an hour later had everything working again, hopefully for the next 40 years.

So when you see that part you don’t think you need, grab it anyway.

I found a NOS wiper motor several years ago for $30.00. Didn’t need it, but installed it anyway and sold the old working one to a rebuilder for $75.
