That is true, but that is also true is that from about 4000 RPM and up, the gains that you will see on a street engine are minimal, and just aren’t worth the stress it puts on the engine.

By all means! All I am saying is, don’t expect really, really dramatic results.

As I said in my first response, yes it is fun :slightly_smiling_face: try it and report back.

I only know 4.2s but they all pulled best from to 3000/3500 - 4500/5000… just because they have good torque early one may think they don’t rev so high but they do. Of course it’s not 8000 rpm but you know what I mean!
3.8 should have its peak even higher up?
