Can anyone identify this?

I think this may possibly be an old steering gear spare part leftover from when I had a MkVII, but I’m not sure.
I cleaned some grease and dirt off of it, and it looks much nicer now, but I don’t know which vehicle it would fit.

Can anyone identify this piece ?

Steering Idler Assembly, either C6601 or C8388, used on Mark VII & VIII. It looks like Mark IX but is a little different.
