I have a 1988 XJ40. I currently use CHF 7.1 fluid for my brake system. As this fluid is getting harder to find, I wanted to see if I could flush the system and use the new 11s or 202 fluid and if it would have any negative effects on my vehicle? Has anyone done this type of fluid change before? I have a slight leak in the high pressure hose and I am trying to find a replacement hose which is impossible so far. I go through about a liter every 2 or 3 weeks
So long as you fully flush out the old fluid you can replace with 11s or any brake/clutch fluid to DOT 4 standard
