Circuit 3 failure

My Daimler 3.6 1989 is showing circuit failure 3, but all the fuses in the centre holder are fine.

Any ideas?

Have you checked the fuses electrically as well as visually?

Are all of the fuses present?

Beyond that I can only think that you have a cold solder joint in one of the fuse holder connections.

I don’t know if this will help , I have an 89 xj40 3.6 and the failure 3 for mine is coolant temp sensor. Got one from oreilly for $15 problem solved.

Different fault codes. The ‘Circuit Three Failure’ indicates a blown fuse in the centre fuse box. The ‘code 3’ failure to which you refer is a VCM failure flagged by the EMS - different system.
