I am on the finishing stages of trimming my '63 Roadster. I have clips to install the chrome trim on the sills. I understand the same clips are used for the front chrome strip on my convertible top. My question is: How are they positioned, which way is up? Many thanks for any help!! Dave Thomas
Inside the trim you should see a raised bead at the edge. The little skewers on the clip need to engage with that lip. So position them in the way that allows that to happen.
And in case it’s not obvious… I always fit all the clips into the chrome then snap it on (rather than trying to fit the chrome over the installed clip).
