Clutch replacement and other modifications?

I built up my Moss 'box with the 9.5" diaphragm clutch. It’s easy enough to have the XK flywheel drilled for this whilst access is good. The diaphragm spring type requires far less pressure to operate than the older three-finger type, taking a lot of load off the tapered pins.
I did buy a set of high quality parallel pins and shaft for 150, but decided not to use them as some movement was possible in their location when assembled. This struck me as a bad idea.
