Coil Upgrade - 3 wires now?

I purchased the recommended DAC6093 single coil to replace my dual coil system on my 88 V12.

After removing the 2nd coil located in front of the radiator and it’s wiring, I noticed there are now only three wires to hook up to the coil. Is this correct?

I can’t find any how-tos about hooking up the new coil

Thanks!

Three wires is correct. One from ignition to positive terminal on coil. Two wires from ignition amplifier- one to positive, other to negative, just as before.
All the connectors have to be female, so you might have to change one of them, from male.

thanks! So I assume it doesn’t matter which of the two coupled terminals on the coil I use, as long as I go correctly to positive or negative?

Whichever works better for you!
