[collectibles] Acknowledgements

Tony:

As promised, I have added an acknowledgements page to my website (I also

snarfed another one of your bitmaps ;-)). Please check it out, and let me
know if it meets with your approval:

Thanks,
Mike

Yes, that’s fine and thanks for taking the trouble and adding the
link:-) What I couldn’t find was the original page though with all the
Le Mans posters on? If it interests you, I also have loads of other Le
Mans stuff back to the 50s including original programs, photos and
other goodies. There are some excess Jaguar racing action photos going
up on eBay shortly, mostly from around the 90s with a few Le Mans ones.

If you look here:
http://www.jag-lovers.org/brochures/goodwood_revival.html
from the inaugural Goodwood Revival meeting in 1998 there are some
lightweight E-types in pics 8 and 16. I may have more somewhere.

Regards

Tony:

The posters are at:

http://www.westnet.com/~mfrank/lemansposters.html

I'd be interested in any posters you might have to fill in the missing

years: pre-1953, 1955, 1958, 1959 and 1975. I’d aslo be interested in
memorobilia from the '63 Le Mans. A photo or bitmap is all I need.

BTW, I have some audio tapes of Jag radio ads from 1959...Mark IX, Mark

II, and XK 150 if you are interested. Also some old newsreel footage of the
'63 Le Mans, and a home video of the '63 Sebring.

Thanks,
Mike
