[collectibles] Brochures?

Hi there,
I don’t know if this is the right place or not to discuss
brochures. I recently acquired an XJ-S brochure dated 11/75,
number 250M-11 and I was wondering iof this is something that
should be posted to the brochures page.

I find it amusing that they refer to the car as the ‘‘S-Type’’ in
this brochure.

It appears to be a US spec item.

Any thoughts?

The XJ-S was often referred to in USA literature up to at least 1982
as the S-Type - there’s even a series of brochures in 1981 called
‘The New S-Type’ - one is scanned already:

If you like to please send me a cover scan, I’ll check if it’s in the
pile that haven’t been put on yet. And if not, if you like to scan
it, I’ll willingly add it. The 250M means 250,000 copies printed.

Thanks for the current USA brochures BTW, arrived safely last week,
not sure where they had been routed through to get here!
