[collectibles] E-type V12 diecast models?

I just received a 1:38 Maisto scale model that was listed on
Ebay as an E Type V12 that was a Johnnie Walker Black Label special
promotion. The box does say V12 but the model inside is actually a
black Series 1 E-Type OTS.
Anyone know if this Johnnie Walker model should actually be a
Series 3 V12, or if it was just a marketing ploy to repackage the
S1 as a V12 hoping folks wouldn’t know the difference. I’ve not
seen a true Series 3 E-type diecast except for the recent Auto Art
models that are a bit high priced: anyone know of any others?–

Yat Ming in their Road Signature series does a pretty good Series
III V12 E type roadster in pale primrose or BRG with turbo disc
chrome wheels. They are in 1:43 scale, same as the smaller
AutoArt ones but are much less expensive, about $5.00 as I recall.
Really good value for money. I think Diecast Direct stocks them.–
