[collectibles] Jaguars under the Southern Cross

I don’t know if there are any other book collectors on this list, but if
anyone’s interested, I’ve come across a copy of Jaguars Under the Southern
Cross by Les Hughes. This is a limited edition book (1000 copies) published
by Bronle Motor Books in 1980. It details the history of Jaguar in
Australia, including both racing and commercial history. It’s well
illustrated, with many rare photos of cars never seen in the US or Europe.
I sepecially liked the photos of Bob Jane’s Lightweight E-Type. The quality
and style of the book is comparable to Philip Porters massive tome on
E-Types. It’s 380 pages, about 200 illustrations. The appendix lists
import and registration counts, serial numbers of unusual cars, and a list
of subscribers to the limited edition.

As I already have a copy, I have no interest, if there’s anyone out there
interested, I can hook you up with the seller. He’s asking USD$200.
