[collectibles] Model Jags {Scanned}

Jim,

Search on ebay and I'm sure you will find something there. I have

several nice models of my Jaguars including a very nice MK VIII from the
“Gems and Cobwebs Collection”. It was a little more that what I wanted to
spend, but it is a very nice model (except for the leaper which looks more
like a potato than a Jaguar).

Search for "Jaguar model". You will likely see several hundred listed.

Hi All,

Jim here, in SW Louisiana. I own three antique Jaguars: '73 XJ12,
a '65 S-Type, and a '52 Mark VII. I am unable to find a decent
scale model - die-cast, plastic, or otherwise - of ANY of the
three. Any leads would be appreciated!

Regards,

Lusstor,

Yes, searching on ebay can be a little tricky as computers will only

find exactly what you have told them to find. If you look for “S-Type” you
won’t find something listed as “S” Type.
Sometimes it’s better to search a more generic title like “Jaguar Model” and
accept that you will have to sort out the things you don’t want, in order to
make sure you find the gold nugget you are looking for. The advanced search
can help if you want to eliminate some items.

I found an excellent pair of fog lamps for my 1984 XJ6 VdP by searching

for “Hella Fog”. I had been searching under “Jaguar fog” and struck out.
You see the seller had no idea what kind of car they came from, only the
manufacturer. I’ll bet that if he listed them as “Jaguar Fog Lamps” he
would have doubled his winning bid. As it was I was the only bidder and got
them at a very reasonable price, even considering shipping from the UK
