Reg,

I have had great luck finding an assortment of owner's manuals

for my Jaguars on ebay. Search “Jaguar owner” and “Jaguar manual”.
You’ll have to sort through a bunch of ones that don’t pertain to your
car, but sometimes sellers don’t do a really good job of letting you
know what they are selling so looking under “Jaguar owner” and “Jaguar
manual” you should find them all.

I just searched ebay under "Jaguar owner" and found at least two

that look promising, auctions #300145488703 and #150155064331 .
selling.

If you don't want one of these, or someone out bids you, look

back in a few days and there will likely be more.

Both these Ebay links are for new reproduction handbooks published by
Brooklands Books - and although they replicate correct text for their
particular issue, are not nice quality publications re paper used and
print/photo quality.

If you know to avoid Brooklands reprints you do still regularly find
ORIGINAL V12 E-Type Handbooks for sale on Ebay, and from time to time
you will get more than just the Handbook - you do see listings that
include the Vinyl Jaguar Wallet, Service Vouchers, and other
paperwork/booklets that were include with the Handbook in the Literature
Pack that came with your V12 E-Type when it was new.

If you just want the Handbook information, then the Brooklands Handbooks
are fine, but if you really want something more commensurate with having
a collectors car - then best to get an original handbook and better
still to have a complete or at least partially complete Literature Pack.

Also note - there are three different versions of the V12 E-Type
handbook, easily differentiated by the three different colour covers,
and each of these three different versions have a number of different
editions marginally updated to keep pace with slightly changing
specification of V12 E-Type over life of model.

The White print on Light-Blue covered Handbook is issue number E.160 and
came in four editions E.160/1, E.160/2, E.160/3 and E.160/4 with the E.
prefix denoting English Language version, with /1 and /2 suiting all
English markets including USA from 1971 introduction, but /3 and /4 no
longer suiting USA market due to emissions and safety regulations
introduced uniquely in USA. (E.160/2 is available as a Brooklands
reproduction)

For 1973 USA MY cars a special USA only edition of V12 E-Type Handbook
was published, with yellow print on a crimson cover issue/edition
numbers A.173/1 and A.173/2 with the A. prefix denoting America version.
The cover actually also includes “U.S.A. Specification” in wording.

For 1974 USA MY cars another special USA only edition was published,
this time with with red print on a tan/yellow cover issue/edition
numbers A.181/1 and A.181/2 (A.181/2 is available as a Brooklands
reproduction)

There are also a large number of supplements of varying relevance to
different markets, and different model-year of cars that you tend to get
in the Literature Packs when they turn up, that you do not get with the
Brooklands Reprints, although they do usually include reproduction
Maintenance Chart and Wiring Diagram that are loose-leaf inserts.

The Brooklands reprints are invariably the ones offered as NEW and at
Buy-it-Now pricing, as they are just readily available retail books -
some vendors are honest and openly declare them as BROOKLANDS, others
pretend not to know and purport them to be factory originals. The
originals are second-hand but do range up to excellent and new-old-stock
conditon if you buy just the Handbook; whereas the Literature Packs are
definitely second-hand ex-new car delivery supply, and condition is as
advertiser hopefully accurately declares/describes.
