[collectibles] OBD II for '95 VDP?

I’m thinking of purchasing a laptop based OBD reader. Can
anyone tell me if my '95 vdp x300 is obd II compliant?
Anyone have any suggestions for a reasonably priced and
versatile reader?
Thanks, Rich–

Rich,

This list is for collectibles, like books, models, brochures,

emblems, etc. You are better off posting this type of question to the X300
list.

Sorry, but none of my Jaguars are OBD capable and I have no idea how

to answer your question.

In reply to a message from msterri sent Wed 26 May 2010:

G’day Rich,

I have a 1995 V12 X305 and it is OBD II compliant and I have a
interface for my laptop and can read the engine and transmission
codes as well as monitor some live data.

I use and interface and software from here

http://www.enginecheck.co.uk/

but some of the listers use an Auto Enginuity product which is a
lot more comprehensive.

Head off to the X300 list for more information about your car.

Regards,
Jeff Watson.
